We use only Chimcap ® stainless steel or copper chimney caps. Our caps are solid steel stamped with holes instead of tack welded screen caps which can blow apart with the strong winds on the Cape.

Custom sizes are our specialty. All caps come with the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty. We also specialize in top sealing dampers and high wind caps.

We offer Gelco stainless steel or copper chase covers for your prefab wood chimneys.  Most chase covers on the Cape are made of galvanized steel which will rust and eventually leak.  All covers are made to your chimney dimensions.

Why call a chimney sweep that does not do masonry?  We do all kinds of masonry repairs from crack repair to roofline up rebuilds.

We offer wood, coal and pellet stove installations. Whether it is a hearth stove or an insert, we can do it.  If you don’t have a chimney why go to the expense of building one when we can install a pre-fabricated metal class A chimney for your stove or furnace application.  This “all fuel” chimney will meet all your needs whether it is wood, coal, pellet, gas or oil!

Chimney fires happen and when they do, a stainless steel liner is the least expensive yet most efficient way to repair a damaged flu liner.  Also unlined chimneys, in most cases, can be re-lined with a stainless liner.  We also recommend when installing a new solid fuel appliance such as a woodstove that you line the flu with a stainless liner, so if you do have a chimney fire, it will stay contained within the liner and will not leave damage to your chimney.  We use only stainless steel liners and they come with a lifetime warranty for all applications.

If you are suffering from a leaky chimney, nine out of ten times it is the bricks absorbing water and not the flashing.  Masonry chimneys are porous and soak up water like a sponge.  Water can penetrate your chimney through cracks and broken bricks as well as through the good bricks.  We use only Chimney Saver Water Repellent.  It is different than any other waterproofing you would find at your local hardware store.  Those other products can actually leave a shine on your chimney and cause moisture to get trapped within the bricks and cause the faces of bricks to spall or “pop off” in winter time.  Chimney Saver is a breathable product which leaves no shine and will never trap in moisture.  It comes with am incredible 10 year manufacturers warranty.  Just remember that if you have masonry cracks or missing bricks, they need to be repaired first.  Waterproofing a damaged chimney is like a band aid and will void the warranty.
